IMPORTANT SAFETY TIPS FOR VOUCHER HOLDERS

Always keep your RE TYRE card in a secure place.

Only carry the RE TYRE card when you are going to use it.

Treat the RE TYRE card as if it was cash.

Upon receipt, immediately sign the card in the space provided on the back.

If you lose your RE TYRE card, immediately contact the RE TYRE contact centre.

Always inform RE TYRE as soon as possible about changes to your contact details, physical and or postal address, telephone numbers, etc.

RE TYRE contact centre hours: 8:00 am – 17:00 pm (Monday – Saturday) / Closed on Public Holidays.

How does the RETYRE card work?

All cards have a preset period and kilometer threshold whereafter the card is
usable/redeemable - 12 month and 30,000 km -
The card needs to be registered on the date of receipt, by the client and the dealership.

The client will receive a SMS, WhatsApp or Email to confirm successful registration.

Before the cardholder can use/redeem their card at a tyre fitment centre, they will have to activate the card by contacting the RETYRE contact centre via SMS, WhatsApp, or email.

The card is linked to a specific vehicle and may not be transferred to another vehicle.
How long is the RETYRE card valid? The card expires after 5 years if not used/redeemed, with any remaining value being forfeited.
What are the costs of this RETYRE card? There are no costs associated with the holding and normal use of this card.
How does the RETYRE repurchase option work? In the event of the registered vehicle being sold, stolen or unrepairable accident damaged the cardholder will have a cancellation repurchase option, subject to a 15% handling and administrative fee calculated on the initial card value.

How do I register my RETYRE card?

Send a WhatsApp or Email with the following to the RETYRE contact centre: Activate, your ID number together with the barcode on the card.

Please note that the WhatsApp or Email needs to be sent from the same cell phone number and or email address that is recorded on the documentation.

You can also ask the sales assistant at the dealership to assist with this process.
How do I activate and use/redeem my RETYRE card?

Send a WhatsApp or Email with the following to the RETYRE contact centre: Redeem, your ID number together with a photo of the vehicle’s km reading and licence disc and the name and location of the tyre fitment centre.

Please note that the WhatsApp or Email needs to be sent from the same cell phone number and or email address that is recorded on the documentation.

You can also ask the sales assistant at the fitment centre to assist with this process.
In order to verify that you are the actual holder, we require that you activate the card before you use/redeem the card. Your identity, the vehicles identification and thresholds will have to be confirmed and verified by the tyre fitment centre, and only thereafter will the RETYRE card be usable/ redeemable.
Where can I use my RETYRE card? You can only use/redeem your RETYRE card in-store at any participating national tyre fitment centre.
Are there any spending limits on my RETYRE card? Yes, the card is pre-loaded with a preset value.
What happens if I lose my RETYRE card?

If you discover the card is missing when you need to claim, then there will be a short delay while we stop the old card and send you a new one.

If the card is lost at any other stage, immediately WhatsApp, Email or call the RETYRE contact centre, and report the lost card to enable RETYRE to stop the card and issue a new card, which will be subject to a prevailing admin charge.

Your RETYRE card is the most valuable item when you have to replace your vehicles tyres. Please keep it safe and only present it at a tyre fitment centre.
How do I request my RETYRE card balance or statement? You can contact the RETYRE Contact Centre for a statement indicating the balance of your card.
How do I find out details about my RETYRE card? For any further information regarding your card, call or contact the RETYRE contact centre.
What are the terms and conditions associated with the use of my RETYRE card? The RETYRE card's terms and conditions are enclosed with the delivery of the card. Please ensure that you read these terms and conditions very carefully. Upon use of your card, you shall be deemed to have read and fully understood all the terms and conditions of use pertaining thereto and that you regard yourself fully bound in terms thereof. Do I need to be subjected to any FICA Act process? No, but we will nonetheless require you to verify your information.
Can l make deposits into my RETYRE card? No, you cannot, the RETYRE card is not a bank card but a preloaded voucher card.

What do I say to the sales assistant at the tyre fitment centre? You should inform them that you are planning to use your RETYRE card as part or full payment of your purchase.

To redeem the voucher, do I have to purchase a specific or preselected tyre or product? No. However, the purchase is limited to the registered vehicle associated with the RE TYRE card and should include wheel balancing, wheel alignment, and safety checks to support and improve the vehicles’ road worthiness and road safety standards.

Can I supplement a cash purchase with a RETYRE card or vice versa? Yes, if the purchase value is greater than the pre-loaded value of the RETYRE card a personal payment will be required.
